| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer's vehicle had problems with it's instrument cluster. the consumer searched the internet for a instrument cluster recall. he found a recall but was told by the dealer and manufacture that his vehicle was not included in the recall. the speedometer would will go from 10mph to 140 mph and the tachometer would go from normal to 0. sometimes the vehicle would not start. refr# cadillac 1-333-062133, campaign # from recall 95v224000. *nm occasionally all engine power is abruptly lost without warning at low speeds of 10-30 mph resulting in loss of control with power steering function lost. on 2 occasions the car steered itself into an opposing traffic lane. no collision occurred because the opposing traffic lane was free of traffic. steering control without power steering was impossible after engine failure. *tt |
