Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: At low speeds the abs system engages when the break is applied causing the truck to brake poorly. until just recently i've had no problems and my brake pads are fine per my mechanic who checked them about 2 weeks ago. while driving the truck i pulled into a friends driveway about 5mph and applied the brake on dry pavement when the abs came on and i was sent crashing into his garage. this has happend almost 20 times since that day. i can not even drive my truck to work anymore due to fear of hitting someone. i have a 2002 silverado xc 1500 4x4 that is very well maintained with 81332miles. my father and brother both own similar model gm trucks both 2000 models with exactly the same problem. nothing has been done as of yet to fix my truck i'm waiting to see if i can make the dealer pay for the damages done and fix my brake system. |
