Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The driver's side window intermittantly stopped working and the motor was replaced while the vehicle was still under warranty. now the rear right side passenger window stopped working one day after it had been rolled down. it was looked at by the buick dealer, and i was told it would cost well over $500.00 to fix the window regulator and motor. i asked them at the time if there was a recall on the window motors, since i had already had to have one motor replaced, i was told no. i have since had to pull the window up manually, and tape it so it does not fall down. (not a pretty site). i feel this is a problem and am afraid it will happen to another window and will be forced also to fix that one at a hefty price. i believe there should be a recall on the window motor mechanisms. |
