| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Samsung never informed me of the microwave oven recall nhtsa # 03e044000. my microwave is model mr5493g and was manufactured in 2000, and is therefore included in the recall. as a result of not being informed, i awoke in my rv during the evening of may 13, 2005 to a strong smell of something burning. the microwave had turned itself on and was extremely hot on the inside. |
