Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Cosco touriva convertible child safety seat 22-100-tip, 12-01-04, to1b004107, i am a cps instructor/tech, and was installing seat listed above. vehicle used did not have latch. i attached the two sides of the lower anchors clips together and tightened to keep them from being loose/dangerous in vehicle. when i went to tighten the strap, one of the clips pieces (the clip moving portion) slipped to the outside of the stationary clip part. this clips moveable part is very lightweight and i check another of the same i had on hand and the same happened. it would appear if just pulling on it with minimal force that the system would not work during an mvc. please advise |
