| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2002 honda civic, automatic transmission. three times since purchase new in 2002, the engine has suddenely accelerated and continues to rev up to 3000rpm while braking, definitely not with foot on accelerator, twice in reverse and once in drive. vehicle lurches and only very hard braking prevents vehicle motion until the engine can be turned off. there is no floor mat involved. |
