| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: while pulling out of the driveway going 10 mph or less consumer realized he didn't have any brakes and the steering was not working. consumer put vehicle in reverse to stop and nothing happened. consumer then drove home in reverse. consumer called a mechanic, who loaded the vehicle, and took it to the shop where everything worked fine. consumer talked to service manager at dealership, and asked the mechanic to see if power steering pulley wiggled. mechanic did so, and said shaft broke. consumer had this replaced, but later discovered the old part that was taken off was not broken. no problems now with the vehicle. *ak *sb *nm |
