| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Faulty electronic throttle module. i have only 61000 miles on my car and they had to replace this. on most cars this part has lifetime warranty or at least 70,000 miles. i was driving 70mph when my car started suddenly shaking, cruise control stopped working and i had to stop. manual did not have anything about "performace reduced" error and i called the dealership. they told me that it's throittle and it needs to be replaced. $1200 later dealership is saying that this is not covered by warranty and they would not give me any breaks. i think this wrong for volvo not to recognize tha there is a problem, extend the warranty, and recall all the bad parts. |
