| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2005 honda accord experienced cold engine start and unexpected acceleration. *mr at start up the engine would run at 1500 rpm. when placed in gear with the brake pedal depressed, the rpm would drop to 1000. upon release of the brakes, the vehicle would begin to roll as normally expected for about 2 seconds and then the rpm would suddenly jump to 1500 and the vehicle accelerates immediately to 10mph or less. honda suggested that this was normal. *sc *jb |
