Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We recieved a recall notice on two of our ford explorers. it was concerning the glass in the lift gate. the recall stated that the glass could fall out and injure the person openning the window. we had the recall done on two of our vehicles. about 90 days after we had the vehicle repaired the glass did fall out on one of our detectives. we had the window fixed and ford charged us 1029.67 for the repair. our concern is two fold. obviously the original problem still persist and the safty issue is a factor. also we feel that ford should know that the problem is still present and stand behind the repair and figure out another fix. i have gotten no where with ford locally or at their customer relations center |
