| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I notced several times when i would stop that the vehicle would juimp forward and not completely stop. i was going to the garage to see my mechanic. my family and i were almost hit broadside when i tried to stop at a red light. when i put on the brakes i slowed down but when i got under 10mph the vehicle started to jump. the vehicle finally spopped after i was through the intersection. the mechanic told me that the front wheel bearings were worn. he said that the sensors for the abs system were in the bearings. so when i tried to stop the abs system kicked in. that is why i couldn't stop ! this was a very frightening experience for me and my family. this should not happen! the mechanic replaced the front wheel bearings and the vehicle seems ok now. i am concerned that this will happen again. the vehicle is only 5 yrs old. |
