| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The first time occured in oct. of 2004, when i was driving in town, thankfully, and lost all of my power. i was only driving about 30 mph. my car had to be towed, and the alternator was replaced. then, on june10, 2005, i was traveling on the highway, at night about 55 mph, and again lost all power. i again had to be towed, and the alternator was replaced again, but this time, my battery also had to be replaced, which we had to pay half the price. this car is only 2 years old and has had 2 alternators, and nissan of north america says there is ' no problem' with this car or model. i consider this to be a major safety problem, if someone had been behind me, or if i could not have steered off the road. |
