Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I was driving on the freeway when the battery and brake light came on. i barely exited the freeway and found a gas station before the car died. there are 36,400 miles on my car and foothill nissan told me that the warranty covered only until 36,000. they won't replace the defective alternator since i am 400 miles over the warranty limit. then i realized that i wasn't the only one who was going through this. there are many other complaints of the exact thing that happened to me. i was lucky that i didn't get into an accident and there wasn't as much traffic as there usually is on the freeway that day and i was able to hurry off without the car stopping in the middle of the freeway.
