| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2001 chrysler concorde with 80,000 miles. the engine failed and i still owe $6,000.00. a month ago i had it checked, oil changes, etc.. then 4 weeks later i'm at a stop sign and it just shuts down. i took it to chrysler and they told me that the timing chain broke which ruined the engine. this just doesn't seem right or fair. i feel this car should have lasted me longer than 1 1/2 years. i can't believe this is actually even happening...i can't afford this. yesterday a friend of mine had the exact same thing happen while driving her 2001 concorde down the highway. this happended to my aunt a couple of years ago too and her intrepid sat useless while she finished paying off the loan for it. i hope something can be done about this. obviously something is wrong with the engines if it's happened to not only myself but also my friend and my aunt. ho |
