| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am complaining and asking for further investigation into abs brake activations on my 2001 gmc 1500 sierra. i read an article that many failures were occurring and that this was being investigated. gm has recalled vehicles in canada along the "rust belt" i heard. i live in michigan and go through similar weather issues as canada and feel that the brake problems are also the same as the canadian issues. my abs brakes will activate almost daily and my vehicle is just outside of the warranty. i would encourage further investigation into this issue as clearly the same thing that has occurred in canada is also occurring here as well. with the added stopping distance as a result of the abs/brake failures, i do not want to see a senseless accident occur which could cause damage, injury or god forbid any deaths. please feel free to contact me at home if you need further. thank you for your time. marco a. hernandez olivet, mi (269) 749-9295 |
