Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Fuel pump failed while driving on interstate freeway causing engine to shut down. there was no warning, no 'service engine light', no fuel odors. car had a full tank of gas, was driving at normal speed (75mph) on freeway when all engine power was lost. car was towed to chevrolet dealer and repaired. this is the second fuel pump for this vehicle, the original fuel pump was replaced in february 2004. note that there is a recall on the fuel pump, issued this year, but no date when the repair will be made.
