| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Compass b500 belt positioning booster i began noticeing a significant amout of slack in my daughters seatbelt using this booster. upon further investigation i realised the booster was pinning the vehicle belt to the vehicle seat, preventing the belt from retracting properly. fortunately this has been caught with no injuries. i attempted to both email and call the company. upon calling the company i was told to stop using the shoulder belt loop and pull vehicle belt over entire seat. i then asked for such instructions in writing. i have yet to recieve them. the company also told me to call the nhsta 800 number for more information on the "new" instructions. upon calling i learned there were no such instructions. the seat is no longer being used. i am including a link to photos of the seat. the seat was position in each of 6 possible places in my suv. there are pictures of the back of the seat, seat front and belt route in all 6 possible options in my 2004 suv. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/julboese/album?.dir=7914&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/julboese/my_photos this seat has been rated by the nhtsa ease of use ratings. |
