| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 chrysler concorde with 2.7l bought new started making engine noise on june 23rd 2005 with 57009 miles. june 24th failed to start attempting to take it to an automotive repair shop. towed to shop and later told that the engine had failed blaming engine sludge. currently having engine replaced. read article in consumer reports august 2005 edition about engine sludge listing 6 different models of engines including the one in this car that seem to be prone to this type of problem. this article states that all the automakers listed but chrysler have begun replacement or repair programs |
