| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There were no events leading up to the failure. the transmission on my 1999 bmw 750il screamed, & roared and lurched into foward and than nothing. no forward or reverse. at this time nothing has been done to correct the failure. from all the internet sites i have researched including nhtsa it appears that this vehicle should be one that has a faulty transmission and yet bmw and the dealer say no and deny any liability. your help in this matter will be most appreciated. the nhtsa recall id # is 99v005000. thanks. |
