| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was told by my mechanic that i have been burning oil extemely fast. he suggested a heavier weighted oil and engine restore. he also recommended that i get a quote on having my engine rebuilt since the car probably has loose rings and valves. (i was quoted a price in the $4k-$5k range). i think chrysler should build engines that last longer than 97,000 miles. i was driving home the other day and when i went to accelerate from a stop light and the car just died. thank fully i was on a hill & was able to coast off to the side. i mangaged to get it started again, however in a different situation it could have caused an accident. it also happened to my 16 year old son, who is no longer allowed to drive the car, since i feel it is unsafe. |
