| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine noise is very loud. it would seem that the sound insulation around the engine is missing, but it is not. the radiator fan is especially loud on initial acceleration. my first 5000 mile service was just completed and after my complaint, the dealer performed a recall on the fan which was supposed to reduce the noise. it is no better. during hot summer days, it is worse because the fan runs faster (or louder) to maintain proper engine temperature. (note: i traded in my 2002 sequoia with 80,000 miles and never heard the engine on that car). |
