Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Have 2000 ford crown victoria with 140000 miles (police pkg) noticed high pitch sound coming from rearend assembly. told by mechanic it is the rearend differential bearings. just located recall on 2003 crown vics (fleet including p71 vin models for 10/01-12/02 models. i feel maybe 1998-2003 models may be affected and ford should extend the recall to models from a few years before these magic cutoff dates as listed in the 2003? recall. |
