| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: 1992 buick park avenue. the consumer states that the struts that hold the hood up can wear out. the struts are not working all at this time. they stopped working approximately 4 or 5 months ago. consumer did call buick and they told him that because there was not a recall they could not do anything for him. the service department stated it was common in all general motors products. the consumer states he puts a fiber glass umbrella to hold the hood up. in the winter months the problem is not as bad as the warmer months. *jb |
