| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In an unloaded (normal) condition. the brakes are very ineffective. almost to the point of not being useful. i've had them looked at by both a dealer and midas and they both said everything seems fine. the lack of sufficient braking power has made me come very close to causing an acident on multiple occasions. i have been told by more than one people that this is the norm for this series of chevy. i consider this a very hazardous item and i would be selling the vehicle if my finances allowed at this time. the truck is a 99 model and i bought it used in 04. |
