Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: consumer states that on his 1995 ford contour he found the wires in the engine were frayed, he was changing the air compressor, and he called ford motor company at that time he was told there are two recalls on that vehicle. the ford recall numbers are 00544, for the engine fuse fan, and 99m03, for the hood wire harness. there are not any nhtsa recall numbers. lillian at ford to go and get the recalls fixed at the dealership. when he contacted the dealership he was told the recall had expired and the work would not be done free of charge. he then called the manufacturer back and they called the dealership and was still told it would not be fixed. *nm |
