| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: dt: contact states received a recall notice on a child safety restraint. consumer had already purchased another child seat due to the harness strap not staying through the harness clip. the consumer has contacted the manufacturer, and they stated they would provide a free remedy kit for the recalled child seat, but not provide reimbursement for the purchase of the new child seat without proof of ownership of the child seat (the original receipt for the child seat. after 90 days, the contact did throw away the original receipt. the contact did offer to mail the recalled child seat to the manufacturer to obtain reimbursement for the new child seat that was purchased.*ak |
