| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: consumer states her vehicle collided with a truck cabin that was left abandoned on freeway 280 in palo alto, ca. the vehicle was traveling at approximately 60 mph. the vehicle spun several times and side swiped another vehicle parked in the vehicle service lane. it landed in the hillside of the freeway. the vehicle safety features included front, side, and panel airbags. none of which deployed. the vehicle has been declared a total loss by american express property and causality insurance. it is presently located sturken auto body in san jose, ca. it is scheduled for immediate towing by the insurance company to iv company in north hollywood, ca for salvage. there was a police report. the consumer was injured in this vehicle. there maybe other injuries because there were 4 other vehicles involved. the consumer has not seen the police report yet. the truck cabin was unavoidable; the car on the side of the freeway had hit it first. *nm |
