| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My abs system pumps the brakes as i slow to a stop. this often happens as i approach a stop sign. i press the brake pedal to stop, the truck slows, and just before it stops, the abs pump pumps once or twice. i can hear the pump and feel it in the pedal. i own a 2001 gmc sierra 1500, 4wd, extended cab. i removed the 2 front wheel sensors, as well as the vehicle speed sensor, cleaned them and replaced them. i also tested each sensor to verify that it showed the proper resistance value. none of this fixed the problem. |
