| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2004 ford mustang cobra. i have had the accelerator pedal become stuck under the carpet on more than one occasion. one of the events happened while i was on a dyno-jet testing horsepower, and it was captured on video. the other even happened while driving, and i was nearly killed. i just happened to think fast and switch the key off. i have fixed this by cutting away a section of carpet under the pedal. i am not happy with this solution because this is a limited production car, and cutting carpet is not a thing that i wanted to do. but i was afraid that if i did not do this i would be injured or killed the next time it happened. |
