Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt:contact states the strap on the child seat comes loose. there is nothing holding the straps to keep it from coming loose. there was an accident, but the seat kept child in place. but there are some days when the strap has come loose by itself. everyday the consumer has to check to make sure the straps are fastened. about every 2-3 days the straps have to be re-fastened. there is a recall on the eddie bauer car seat for this problem, but this model number does not fall under that recall. the consumer does not have the recall campaign id number. the make of the car seat is dorel juvenille group, the model is eddie bauer, the model number is 22-990 blk. this specific car seat model number is not an option at the select model number screen. *ak
