Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The car lurches forward violently when the gas pedal is touched intermittenly. the defect seems to be related to relationships between engine temperature and outside temperature. the defect is most likely to take place when the vehicle has been driven for about 20 - 30 minutes, then allowed to sit for about 2 to 2-1/2 hrs when the outside temperature ia btween 68 and 74 degrees. the car was purchased march 21, 2005. i have almost 10,000 miles on it. the defect began on day one. i have a log file of starts since then. the dealer claims it is not a vehicle defect, it is the way i drive the car. i have an affidavid from another driver who experienced the same problem in the car on july 17 when i was not present. |
