Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2000 venture was parked on an incline nose down with a full tank of gas. after about one hour someone smelled gas. we found gas streaming out from under the van. there was no gas in my garage and i did not hit any objects on the way. i had the van towed to the dealer. must replace entire gas tank because 'check valve inside tank went bad'. cost $1100. this poor design makes us have to replace the entire tank for one valve. not a maintenance issue. could have been a very dangerous situation. gm won't help pay for repair. |
