Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2003 nissan murano is in the shop have to the alternator replaced for the third time in less than a year. the first time time it went out was in sept-04. it was under warranty and the dealer came and towed it to the dealership and replaced it. i had the same problem one month ago on my way to california from utah. i had the car towed to the dealer. they said it was the alternator and the battery. it cost over$500.00for parts and labor plus the cost of the tow. three days ago it went out again. this time they said that the alternator was still under warranty but we had to pay for the tow again. i am afraid to drive it out of town. i just read that there is a recall thanks to your organization. i hope the delership will be able to correct the problem w/o the recall letter. i would also like to see a refund. |
