| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: dt: contact complained about abs brake failure. . at low speeds when the brakes were applied they failed. there was pulsation within the front end of the vehicle when the brakes were applied. this resulted in extended stopping distances. there have been no warning lights illuminating and indicating there was a problem within the abs braking system. a local service technician cleaned the abs sensor. this did not remedy the problem. the service dealer stated they will have to replace the abs sensor and replace the wheel speed sensor. consumer disconnected the abs fuse. consumer has not contacted the manufacturer. there was a recall for abs brakes in canada. *ak |
