Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vehicle engine quits completely and abruptly with no warning. the authorized service center has changed the distributor 4 times, every 10,000 miles. the last three times it failed we were on either main roads or the expressway traveling the speed limit. when the engine quits we loose power brakes, power steering and the vehicle slows down rapidly causing a major back up and brake squealing behind us. it is to the point where our people do not want to drive the vehicle as it is unsafe, both the dealer and chrysler tell us that there is nothing they can do and we must tolerate this expensive and very dangerous situation. in all cases all failures resulted in the vehicle stopped in the roadway and necessitated a tow vehicle.
