| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: contact stated the parking brake bands dragged on the hub of the rear wheel even though the parking brake was not being used. consumer heard a grinding noise, and when he took the car into the service dealership, they told him the hubs needed to be replaced. gmc investigated trucks with manual transmissions but not with automatic transmissions. had to replace the hubs on 7-25-05. had 53,000 miles on this vehicle and bought it brand new. consumer felt this was a defect and would like to file a safety complaint. this was the first time he had this problem. *ak *jb |
