| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the rv is a 2003 mini winnebago. consumer received a recall letter for the samsung microwave mr1031wb. the recall stated that it could turn itself on and catch on fire. the letter advised the consumer to keep the door open or unplug it to keep anything from happening. consumer contacted the dealer, and they told him they would schedule an appointment. consumer waited and no one contacted him. he then contacted the manufacturer, who gave him a number for someone local to assist him. the local dealer told him that they had no record of an appointment. also, they told him to unhook the microwave and bring it in. consumer told dealer he would not do this because he did not know how to unhook it. also, could not lift it because of a health problem. the recall letter was received in the beginning of july. consumer has not had any problems with the microwave as of yet. *ak |
