Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My son recently graduated to a booster seat. i purchased cosco traveler high back booster. my son fits all of the specifications for this booster seat. i installed it properly. my son was in the booster seat. as i was driving along the freeway my son dropped his book on the floor. he leaned forward to pick it up from the floor and the arm of the booster seat caused the seat belt button on the latch to depress, which thus unbuckled the seat belt and caused my son to fall out of his seat while reaching for his boot. the seat belt unbuckles every single time my son leans forward at all due to the "arm" of the booster seat. it is my opinion that in the event of an accident, the force of his body weight against the seat belt would cause the seat belt to unbuckle. thus the restraint would not be restraining him. *nm |
