Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Upon washing my 2002 pontiac montana minivan today, i noticed that the right front tire (general xp2000 gt - p215/70r15) has approximately 14 inches of sidewall separation. i commute 2 hours to work each day on the interstate and would not have noticed this if i had not been washing my tires. my husband inspects the tread and air frequently. i shutter to think what may have happened to me or any of my four children had this gone undetected. i bought this vehicle last fall from a used car dealership. my husband specifically asked the dealer about the tires and was told that the vehicle was gm certified and had at least 50,000 miles worth of wear left on them. *jb |
