Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: After driving off the lot with a new 2002 chrysler sebring lxi, consumer observed a noise from the lower drivers side and felt vibration from the steering column. the noise is a rattling noise that sounds like metal slapping or tapping against metal. this occurs regularly at high and low speeds once the engine reaches normal operations (after the car has been driving for a few minutes). the dealer has been notified three times and has not solved this problem. they resulted to saying that the noise is from a transaxle splash guard, but they tried to recreate the noise by pushing the splash guard against the transaxle, but the noise did not disappear. *nm
