| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: our vehicle has stalled on numerous occasions while in motion. this is unsafe, and could possibly result in an accident, since when the vehicle stalls there is no power steering after the vehicle stalls. sometimes the rpms drop down to near zero and the cruise control light comes on before it stalls. occasionally the vehicle does not completely stall, and the engine recovers, resulting in a strong jerk. also occasionally the car just jerks noticeably to strongly while driving. this has been going on noticeably for a few months, and we have had numerous repairs to our vehicle that have (potentially falsely) been diagnosed. none of these repairs have seemed to affect the stalling and jerking problems. the date given is the date of our most serious stalling events. it stalled several times that day while i was driving. *nm |
