Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My 2001 pontiac grand am has had brake failure since last year. i have had rotors & brakes replaced july of 2004. turned around my brakes was failing again and was told that i needed new calipers in november 2004. my car is not under any warranty. i could not afford to get the calipers replaced, so they sprayed them to get me through. i also had my brakes replaced again. started having brake problems again july 22,2005. this time i was sitting at a stop light and my brake pedal just released and went to the floor. i almost ran into the back of another car. took my car to get looked at. my rotors, brakes and calipers all need replacing immediately. was told that grand am vehicles are common for having these problems. *jb
