| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have taken my 2003 gmc yukon xl in for service on the air conditioner on more than one occasion. i recently moved from michigan to tennessee and while living in michigan i notices a squealing noise whenever i turned on my ac. the noise would last a few minutes and then stop. i also noticed a rattling noise upon acceleration while the ac was on. i took it to the dealer in michigan and at first nothing was found. i again took it to a dealership in tennessee and was told that it was a recycling switch, and it was replaced. now, almost i year later the same problem has occurred but unfortunately, my vehicle is now out of warranty (50,000 miles) and i am now told that the air compressor has completely failed. it will now cost me over $1,000 to repair on a car that is less than two years old. *jb |
