| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1999 volkswagen developed a major problem with wiring and electrical failure.***no answer required***.*mr the consumer had difficulty starting the vehicle. once the vehicle was started smoke began to emit from the vehicle. upon inspecting the vehicle, the consumer was told the started solenoid shorted out and burned the main power wires from the started all the way through the complete main wiring harness as well as the engine management and fuel injector harness and melted the ignition switch. the vehicle showed smoke damage. *jb |
