Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Driving down a 4 lane interstate at 65 with cruise on, the transmission starts to wine and loses acceleration. moved over to slow lane proceeded to get the next 35 miles home in 3rd gear (noise was make in "d"). upon arrival home-found out that the envoy no longer has reverse. dealer believes there is a problem with the "sun plate" in the transmission. this envoy only has 48,300 miles. dealer believes this is the problem because he has seen this before and knows there is a problem. why is there not a recall on this part or problem?? this should not be happening with any vehicle that has such low miles. *nm |
