Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was pulling into my driveway when my spare tire fell off of its holder on the bottom of my 1999 chevy venture van. the cable that holds it in place rotted away. i had someone tell me that they experienced a spare tire from a venture coming at them on the highway. they barley avoided a serious accident! thank god mine didn't fall off on the highway!! i spoke to gm (customer care line) and they told me that this was normal wear and tear for the age of this vehicle and they would not cover it. does someone have to be killed by this problem before something is done about it? *nm |
