Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Regarding a 2002 c5 corvette. steering randomly locks up. the car can only be towed then fixed by a dealer. this can even happen while the car is in motion. any corvette only from the year 97 to present can be affected. gm knows this is a problem and will happen to almost every vette owner. this is extremely unsafe and gm is not to doing there job to fix this problem even after 8 year from the original date to which this first occurred. this is unacceptable. *nm
