Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact owned a 1999 chrysler concorde. the engine went out with only 49,000 miles on the vehicle while driving 55 mph. this did not cause an accident, they were able to steer the vehicle to the side of the road. there were no problems with the engine prior to this. the contact purchased the vehicle from a first time owner he had the vehicle for about six months. the contact took the vehicle to a repair shop, and they told him engine had to be replaced, and that car needed oil changes often. the contact insisted that during the six months that he owned the vehicle he kept up with the oil changes, and did not believe that was the cause of engine failure. *ak
