| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving home from florida to new jersey on august 5th at 3:00 am in my motorhome (ford econoline e350, 26') with my family on board. this motorhome is meticulously maintained and tire pressure is always checked an maintained at 60 psi. i experienced a catastrophic blowout of one of my rear tires (rt side) and almost lost control of the rv. i put my spare on and continued on. 2 hours later another blowout occurred left rear. at this point we had no faith in these tires and immediately pulled them off the vehicle and replaced them with 6 new michelin ltx at the local sears (cost over $1000.00) these tires almost killed us. they had approx 6,000 miles on them total (no visible defects at all). *nm |
