Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My husband and i purchased a 2004 toyota sienna in feb. 2004. we traded it on 6/24/2005 for a 2005 toyota sienna. the reason was we did not need an 8-pass. and captain chairs in 2nd row and i hated the color. so we got a 2005 blue mirage le 7-passenger on 6/24/05. but, yes we have a problem my 04 got 19.6 mi. per gal. this one is only getting 14.3 mpg. i still drive to same places and i pushed the 04 to its limits unlike the 05 that i drove like it is a baby. i brought my car to the dealership on 7/25/2005 to have them find out what the problem was. i was told they were going drive it 75 miles. well they drove it 210 mi. they said that the overhead computer was not set correctly and it was reset to 22.7 mpg. as i was leaving the computer was dropping on the mpg, i called the service manager rob. he told me that i was wrong and that i needed to drive it for at least 5,000 mi. before i knew what the car would get. bull my 04 always got 19 to 20 mpg. today i manually tracked it and once again my car is only getting 14.33 mpg. toyota corp. called me about the van. have not heard anything from them. they said there was something wrong with it. she said her manager would contact me still no word. so, tonight my husband and i went up there to speak with the manager who sold us the car, he wasn't there but another manager said i needed to speak with the manager that sold it to us. and to never go by the computer always figure gas mi. manually. so, why did i pay for it? we have bought 4 toyotas from them in the last 4 years and have remained faithful customers. i did not see anything on your website that referred to this. do you have any ideas? thank you, gena m. stokes. *nm
